SMS Short code

A Shortcode is a five-digit number (such as 12345) which can either be used to send or receive SMS alongside Multimedia Messaging System (MMS) from cell phone.
It is usually an easy number to remember which is significantly shorter than telephone numbers that allows two-way communication between our partners and their customers. Shortcodes are available either in Toll Free or in Standard Rates

Interactive SMS Method

It can done in two ways

  • 1. The beneficiary can be able to receive an SMS by sending a number or keyword. Example send Hello to 15066.
    “Welcome to Adolescent Girls and Young Women Education platform“
    For English content send 1 For Swahili content send 2
  • 2. The beneficiary can ask questions a receive response from system administrator
